LA County to Present Draft Measure A Spending Plan – Share Your Perspective
Los Angeles County’s Department of Homeless Services and Housing will host a virtual town hall on November 13th at 10:00 a.m. to present the draft FY 2026–27 Measure A Spending Plan.
This is an important opportunity for property managers and service providers to share their perspectives on homelessness strategies that directly affect commercial districts and the communities surrounding them.
What You Need to Know
The Department of Homeless Services and Housing will provide a detailed presentation on the proposed Measure A program categories and funding allocations for the upcoming fiscal year.
The session will include a Q&A and open discussion, allowing attendees to give feedback and ask questions about how funds will be prioritized for homelessness response efforts.
BOMA/GLA has already been in contact with Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis’ office about this opportunity and encourages members to participate in this process.
As the County evaluates how Measure A dollars are spent, input from commercial real estate professionals is vital to ensuring that policies address the real impacts of homelessness on business corridors and building operations.
How It Impacts You
The outcomes of this spending plan will shape homelessness prevention, outreach, and housing strategies across Los Angeles County—many of which directly affect building safety, property maintenance, and commercial corridor revitalization.
BOMA/GLA’s ongoing advocacy on public safety, homelessness response, and community revitalization has underscored the importance of property managers having a seat at the table when funding priorities are set.
We encourage all members to attend the virtual town hall and share their perspectives to help ensure the County’s homelessness investments support safe, accessible, and economically thriving commercial districts.
